With the chilly and frosty days coming to an end, both the children and educators were excited to venture into the forest to see what changes we could see happening as we slowly creep into Springtime.
Twickenham - junk modelling
Wandsworth - warming yellow glow of sunlight
Wimbledon - Sunshine and rainbows
Chiswick - Festive Trio
It’s been an eventful few days in the forest, with three of the best annual celebrations falling all within a week! Shrove Tuesday (or more deliciously known as Pancake Day!), Valentine’s day and Chinese New Year have all been hot talking points this week as we find ways to celebrate them in the forest.
Fulham - rain and sunshine
Putney Heath - clay modelling
Twickenham - pancakes in frying pans
Wandsworth - reminiscing
Wimbledon - making bird feeders
Chiswick - There’s snow business like snow business!
Little Forest Folk Chiswick has braved temperatures colder than we’ve seen in years! On Tuesday we dove headfirst into a winter wonderland, almost entirely untouched, ready for our little troopers to crunch the snow beneath their feet, investigate the frozen forest and see their breath transform into steam.
