Chiswick - Laughter, Learning and Adventure!

Hello, dear families,

Our week at Little Forest Folk has been filled with laughter, learning, and adventure. Our little explorers continue to amaze us with their boundless curiosity and creativity. Let's dive into the highlights of this week's journey.

In our art corner, we've been busy crafting our own masterpieces. Using paper scraps, we've carefully cut and combined them to create stunning mosaics. This creative endeavour not only produced beautiful artwork but also helped hone our fine motor skills, making our little hands more agile.

Out in the meadow, we've embraced the spirit of outdoor exploration. Our young adventurers have been on the lookout for hidden treasures and, of course, muddy puddles! The thrill of discovery and the joy of the great outdoors are experiences we cherish.

In the realm of games, we've taken Jenga to a grand scale. Giant Jenga outdoors has been a hit, with little ones stacking and toppling blocks while uncovering the patterns within. It's a playful introduction to the world of patterns and sequences, fostering early cognitive development.

Our mud kitchen continues to be a place of culinary creativity. We've whipped up delectable treats with homemade playdough, not just measuring ingredients but also practising essential life skills like turn-taking and cooperation.

One special note for this week – despite one day spent indoors due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had a wonderful week! Our time at the Hogarth was nothing short of delightful, we explored our improved garden, uncovering new wonders and enjoying the nurturing atmosphere.

Lastly, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents who joined us for the picnic. Your presence and warm company made the day truly special. Thank you for being part of our forest family.

As we conclude this week, our hearts are brimming with appreciation for the remarkable journey we share with your children. Stay tuned for more adventures, more learning, and more laughter in the days ahead.
