Recap of Our Diwali Delights

We've had an amazing week immersing ourselves in the magic of Diwali, the "Festival of Lights." Let's take a look back at the wonderful activities and celebrations we enjoyed:
Monday Magic: We kicked off our Diwali week with a special Forest school treat, along with the captivating Diwali story. We created beautiful nature mandalas with leaves found during our adventures.
Tantalising Tuesday: Sensory exploration was the theme as our young learners dived into playdough activities, creating aromatic sweets with cinnamon and cardamom.
Ravishing Rangoli: The children tried their hands at crafting vibrant Rangoli art, using colourful lentils, rice, and salt to make stunning patterns.
Dazzling Diyas: We also got creative with beautiful diyas, the traditional Indian lamps, crafting these symbols of light and joy using clay.
Groovy Garba: Our little ones got to experience the lively Garba dance, adding a touch of Gujarati tradition to our Diwali celebrations..
It was a week filled with cultural exploration, sensory delights, and an abundance of creativity. Our children thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our Diwali festivities.
