We’ve had creativity pouring out of everyone this week in our Morden forest!
Lots of different art mediums have been used - one of our favourites has been using our pens and pencils with a direction from the teacher to draw some of our favourite book characters, for the use of their fine motor skills, development of their arts and design skills, and their story telling, as they develop characters with their own stories!
We got very messy with our arty activities too - with lots of paint being poured across tin foil. The children used paint brushes and sticks to move the paint from left to right and up and down. This was a lovely sensory experience for our little ones, and gave great chance to draw their own shapes, patterns, and watch the colours mix together.
Another one of our favourite activities has been finger painting! This has been a great chance for the children to practice their precise movements and specific choice of colour when adding to their christmasy characters on the paper! We used lots of natural materials, sticks, leaves and bare hands to have the best time with our creative ideas and sharing them with our friends. What a great time!
Roll on the last week of term!
