Twickenham - French Art, Italian Pizza and Welsh Cake

This week we have been focusing on a different country every day, inspired by the weekly sport event Six Nations 2023.

On Monday, we explored France, and the children built the Eiffel tower and had a wonderfully artistic time creating some French art; painting just like Claude Monet on a big canvas.

Tuesday saw us celebrating all things Welsh as well as Valentine's Day and the children made some wonderful Valentines cards for the ones they love. We also made some Welsh ‘cake’ using clay and cutters.

Then on Wednesday we travelled over to Italy and the children were making pizza using playdough and used all different kinds of toppings for their creations; for example, rice krispies, red lentils and rice!

On Thursday we had an Irish day where we made our own clovers and a mini version of a leprechaun hat.

And today, the last day of our exciting week, we have been celebrating all things Scotland, with much more to come!

It's been a busy, action-packed week, but we also found time to practice our sawing with some elder branches to make some bracelets and necklaces! We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and we can’t wait for more adventures in the forest next week!
