Wimbledon - Adventure Walks, Climbing and Christmas Decoration Making!

Our final week in the Wimbledon forest this year has been a quiet one but still very busy. We have had slack lines, adventure walks, climbing and lots of Christmas decoration making.

This week has seen the opening of lots of shops in the forest, from a flower store to a hair salon, but the firm favourite among the little foresters has been a restaurant! They have been selling a lot more festive foods than normal, from mince pies to Christmas cake, but you do have to be careful when ordering as some of the cakes are poisonous!

Obstacle courses have been out every day and this has been so much fun. As all of the snow melted at the beginning of the week, they were very slippery and took some getting used to but soon the Foxes and Bunnies were racing around. One group of children built their own course and demonstrated to the rest of their peers the route to follow and how to be careful.

A wonderful, magical last week in the forest for the year. We are sending all of our festive wishes to you all! ðŸŽ„

Team Wimbledon would also like to say a big thank you to our families and staff for helping raise an amazing £388.10 for UNICEF Pakistan. Alongside this we were able to donate a huge amount of food supplies to a local food bank!
