Due to the one of many bank holidays this month it’s been a short week here in the Fulham Forest.
It’s been fabulous watching as the children get into the spirit of the coronation this week as the educators have been very creative thinking of great crafts and activities to do, here in our Fulham Forest we made some awesome crowns and our children have had the best time using their creative sides to decorate them.
The Fulham Palace gardens have been super busy this week with some filming going on throughout the day. Our children have shown great curiosity in observing the rather large cranes and equipment on our walks in and out of camp.
After creating some characters and props one morning, the children showed great showmanship and to our amazement the Little Forest Folk Fulham production show was underway! The educators couldn’t be prouder of the children as their performances were nothing short of epic!
Searching for bugs has been popular this week and using the magnifying glasses has made our searches even more fun, looking closely and observing in and amongst our natural surroundings make some exciting insect discoveries!
As well as all these great activities taking place this week, the children have enjoyed exploring our climbing frame structures and dens and have been working together to complete little obstacle courses and balancing beams which has been wonderful to observe.
As another bank holiday this week approaches, we are excited to see the activities and adventures that we get up to next week here in the Fulham Forest!
