We’ve been bursting with excitement and now that it’s the Queen’s birthday and the official announcement day, we are absolutely delighted to finally share with you the news that Little Forest Folk has been given the royal seal of approval.

Well, this weekend was the long awaited Nursery World Awards! It was a fabulous event and we were delighted to be recognised in such a large industry such as the early years to be one of the industry leaders.
What an amazing week we've had in the forest, blessed with sunshine! It was a wonderful opportunity to follow up on our weather topic from last week. We've been venturing out onto the field, feeling the sunshine on our skin, and discussing how it makes us feel and why it's so important for us and nature.
What a fantastic week it has been in our forest nursery! Our Little Forest Folk-ers have been busy learning, creating, and celebrating together. From diving into the world of money to flipping pancakes over the fire and dressing up as their favourite book characters, there has been no shortage of adventure!
What an interesting week we had in the forest! As we reflected on our theme of community and the different people who make up our community (including ourselves!) we wanted to express what we’ve learned through the arts, specifically through a puppet show. We decided to make wooden puppets that reflect how we see ourselves.
