This week at Wimbledon we have had lots of fun taking part in various activities, from music to pizza making, to sailing away from sharks or going on a bear hunt! It’s been a week full of adventure!
There was a lovely pizza shop set up one morning for the children to explore, where they could transform big wood cookies into pizzas. They used different colours for each ingredient and then when they were ready, they put them into pizza boxes to be delivered. A tasty treat for everyone!
We have also been getting rid of the January blues by channelling our inner musicians in the forest. Using different instruments our little explorers have been creating their own tunes to dance along to, whilst also enjoying and taking inspiration from familiar songs. It was a fun way to liven up the grey days!
Painting, junk modelling and cooking have also been fun highlights this week. The children made apple crumble to end the week and enjoyed it as a tasty snack.
