With Superheroes, rockets and golf ball runs all happening this week you know it’s been a good week in the Wimbledon Forest!
Some of the children had a very exciting start to their week with a trip to the Science Museum. We went on the tube (such a great start), then went for a short walk to the museum which was full of so many amazing things! We saw rockets, astronaut suits, water gardens and lots of old cars and trains. The children were in awe of everything there and it prompted some great conversations between them all!
We have also had lots of fun in the forest this week with everything from water play to imagination games where the children were superheroes, hairdressers, or doctors. It is great to see the way that they use the space around them to create these wonderful games and how excited they all get when they and their friends are having so much fun.
Other activities that we have all enjoyed in the forest this week have included lots of mark making, chase games and climbing too. It’s wonderful to see everyone’s skills develop week by week, and their pride when they achieve a new goal!
