We’ve been bursting with excitement and now that it’s the Queen’s birthday and the official announcement day, we are absolutely delighted to finally share with you the news that Little Forest Folk has been given the royal seal of approval.

Well, this weekend was the long awaited Nursery World Awards! It was a fabulous event and we were delighted to be recognised in such a large industry such as the early years to be one of the industry leaders.
‘Wouldn’t we all secretly like to be Little Forest Folk?' We are incredibly excited and proud to be included once again in the prestigious annual Tatler Nurseries Guide.
This week we experienced a blend of various weather conditions and strong winds so we had to be creative in finding ways of still being active in our learning.
It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back to the forest this week after the Christmas break and has made us very excited for all the adventure that 2020 will bring.

We have been singing our hearts out this week with more and more children starting up Christmas carols with friends joining in or simply starting to request more of the songs that have been introduced over the last couple of months!
What a fabulous, merry and joyous week we have had in the forest. We have weathered a variety of weather, but oblivious to all of that the children have happily got on with all their chosen activities.
It’s that time of year again where we build up to the christmas break and say goodbye, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our friends in the forest.
