We’ve been bursting with excitement and now that it’s the Queen’s birthday and the official announcement day, we are absolutely delighted to finally share with you the news that Little Forest Folk has been given the royal seal of approval.
Following our being selected by Tatler as being one of the finest nurseries in the nation last month, we are now delighted to share with you an article written about Little Forest Folk by a journalist who visited us in our Wimbledon setting a few weeks ago.
Well, this weekend was the long awaited Nursery World Awards! It was a fabulous event and we were delighted to be recognised in such a large industry such as the early years to be one of the industry leaders.
‘Wouldn’t we all secretly like to be Little Forest Folk?' We are incredibly excited and proud to be included once again in the prestigious annual Tatler Nurseries Guide.
We’ve had a lovely week and the team is so happy to see that our new children are starting to settle in. We are also lucky to have such a welcoming group that has made our new friends feel at home in the forest.
This week on the field and in the forest, we have been enjoying the changes in the landscape as much needed intermittent showers and downpours soaked the ground.
Wow, what a busy first week of term we have had! The weather has certainly filled us with surprises, with some sunshine, rain and even a little bit of thunder to add to the mix!
Some of our lovely children finished with us last week and gave us some flowers as a thank you. We had them beautifully decorating our office for a while but then decided we should share their beauty with the children and use them for a variety of activities.
This week has marked the start of the new academic year, and what a week it has been. It has been incredible to welcome all of the sessional children back from their summer break and also wonderful welcoming the new starters onto camp too.
This week, with a shiny new young cohort eager to play, we have been finding plenty of moments to support understanding around the Forest School Rules that help us all to be happy and stay safe.
It’s been such a lovely week at Fulham. It was the last week of our holiday camps, and we enjoyed having the holiday campers join us for lots of fun with our full day children.
Morden forest has been transformed into the Olympic games this week! The children had to run, jump, and navigate the tricky course and see how fast they could each make it through.
This week has been filled with excitement, new faces, and a variety of different activities. We have had the joy of welcoming not only lots of new Little Forest Folk-ers but some new educators who will be joining the Little Forest Folk team as well.
It has been another amazing week in the forest. We have spent our time creating a fabulous obstacle course with a cool climbing bit right in the middle, perfect for our brave adventurers to explore.
Chiswick’s adventurers got their ‘knit on’ this week as we tackled weaving pom poms! Our forest was littered with little fluffy balls of joy in an array of colours.
