Wandsworth - Little Forest Folk's Avengers

Wandsworth - Little Forest Folk's Avengers

As the daffodils on Wimbledon common have begun sprouting this week, we have enjoyed the warm embrace of the sun, the ability to be able to shed our jackets in the afternoon warmth, and the reappearance of some Little Forest Folk Wandsworth alumni, in the form of holiday camp children!

Fulham - Music, Maths & Mindful Movements

Fulham - Music, Maths & Mindful Movements

The Fulham Palace visitors must have wondered what was happening in our forest this week as Jo the Music Man, together with the children, filled our forest with wonderful melodies. With his help, the children and our holiday campers got to play notes on the trombone, the guitar and ukulele!

Good afternoon 🐿️! This week in the forest 🌳 the adventurers have been super busy!
We kicked off the week with some firework paintings for Diwali! Using bright colours to create all sorts of wonderful creations; the children were heard saying ‘wow’ ‘I love fireworks’ ‘colourful’ ‘splat’ ‘weeeee pop pop’.

Twickenham - Diwali, Pumpkins & Fire Safety

Hello, everyone! We are missing our sessional friends but also delighted to welcome back familiar faces as holiday campers. We have had a jam packed week full of fun and engaging activities celebrating Diwali, preparing for Halloween, and learning about tool and fire safety!

Wandsworth - We’re going on a mushroom hunt!

This week, whilst our sessional children are on their half term, we have welcomed in friendly new faces for our holiday camp. We love the new dynamic this creates and where new slightly older children continue to solidify their understanding of looking after younger ones, our Little Forest Folk-ers get a new learning experience in the form of different play styles and socialisation.

Wimbledon - Tool Work Galore!

Wimbledon - Tool Work Galore!

This week in the Wimbledon forest we have been having so much fun with tool work. There has been sawing, whittling, drilling, and hammering. Our older children have greatly enjoyed practicing these skills again and teaching others, and the younger ones have loved learning a new skill.
