This week, a series of lengthy adventure walks have taken us on sun-soaked journeys out into the wild. On one of the loops, we went on a number hunt where children were able to practice number recognition and counting.

The week began with children discovering a brand-new tyre mountain created by Sam and Luca. At a height of 3 tyres and in a pyramid formation that spans a few meters across, there is plenty of room for all to enjoy practising their climbing skills, developing core strength and balance.

The melting ice revealed magnificent mud this week and rolling competitions were orchestrated by older children who showed younger ones the best spots with enough slope and space to have the best fun. A mark of success here is the amount of mud our outerwear gets covered in, and there were certainly top marks all round!
